Specific responsibilities include:

  • Direct experience in fiber optic components industry, developing products such as fiber connectors, transceivers, transponders.
  • Experience with designing parts for high volume manufacturing processes, such as die-casting, plastic injection molding, metal injection molding and stamping.
  • Experience with designing tooling and fix Turing for manufacturing assembly processes.
  • Good knowledge of packaging issues inherent to high speed fiber optic modules, such as EMI.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for managing accounting operations, including accounts payable, employee expense reimbursements, payroll, fixed assets, general ledger, and the month-end close process.
  • Oversee all aspects of the general ledger including chart of accounts, preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, allocations and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting package for management. Respond to questions about expenses, trends and deviations from budgets.
  • Review and or Reconcile inter-company accounts and ensure there are recorded timely across subsidiaries.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Revenue: Analyze shipments and backlog for Neophotonics and NEO subsidiaries. Develop format to report global revenue outlook to management team. Provide ad-hoc revenue and margin analyses as needed.
  • Planning: Plan production for Neophotonics manufacturing, overseas Neophotonics subsidiaries and CMs. Roll up plans from site planners to provide single, global material and capacity outlook. Analyze and track material availability.
  • Production Control: Resolve material and capacity issues, and ensure shipments are completed. Work with US and overseas engineering to resolve technical issues with production. Provide guidance to site planners on priorities, and resolve capacity conflicts.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Conduct periodic cost studies to develop standard cost of products manufactured at several company manufacturing sites.
  • Apply cost accounting principles to provide detailed cost information not supplied by the general accounting systems.
  • Analyze data to ensure integrity of the costs used in the valuation of inventory.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with sales to provide technical support to key customers worldwide
  • Define, develop & negotiate mechanical, electrical, and optical product specifications with customers and internal functional groups at NeoPhotonics in San Jose and Shenzhen.
  • Negotiate technical specifications and performance tradeoffs with customers that will satisfy their system and component needs while promoting NeoPhotonics product preferences at targeted customers in North America and Europe.
