NeoPhotonics to Present at OIDA Workshop on "Photonic Integration for High Capacity Data Transport"
Presentation Will Describe the Performance of PIC Based Components for 100Gbps Coherent Data Transmission Systems

NeoPhotonics Corporation (NYSE: NPTN), a leading designer and manufacturer of photonic integrated circuit, or PIC, based modules and subsystems for bandwidth-intensive, high speed communications networks, today announced that Vice President of Marketing G. Ferris Lipscomb will present a talk entitled "Performance of Photonic Integrated Circuits for Coherent Data Transmission" as part of the Optoelectronic Industry Development Association (OIDA) Workshop on "Photonic Integration For High Capacity Data Transport," which is being held in tandem with the Optical Society of America's "Advanced Photonics Congress."

The talk will take place Monday, June 13th, 2011, from 2:05 - 2:30 PM, at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel in Toronto, Canada.

NeoPhotonics currently offers a broad range of PIC-based components for high capacity data transport networks, including Intradyne Coherent Receivers (ICR) and 90 Degree Hybrid Coherent Mixers for both 40Gbps and 100Gbps coherent transmission systems, as well as both small and standard form factor DQPSK Demodulators for 40Gbps transmission.
