NeoPhotonics Athermal Arrayed Waveguide Grating (Athermal AWG) requires no electrical power for stabilization and can be used as direct replacements for Thin Film Filters for cases where no power is available at the shelf. They can be used for indoor CO and also be used outdoors over -40ºC to +85ºC in Access applications, extending the cost performance benefits of AWGs. NeoPhotonics Athermal AWG is an integrated PLC component that multiplexes or demultiplexes 8 to 96 channels onto a single fiber, and follows the mechanical requirements of the Multi Source Agreement for Athermally-Stabilized AWG Modules. NeoPhotonics offers a full line of MSA AWGs with channel spacings of 50 GHz, 75 GHz, 100 GHz, and 150 GHz, covering the C and L Bands. NeoPhotonics Athermal AWGs can be designed for different Telecom, DCI, or Access applications, and optimized for direction detection or different coherent detection schemes [for single wavelength, supporting 800GBits/s up to 1.6T].
